TV star and comedian Bob Saget, who portrayed the beloved character Danny Tanner on the hit sitcom “Full House,” died on Sunday at the age of 65.
The actor passed away at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene after first responders found him in his hotel room around 4 p.m.
Saget’s cause of death was not immediately clear. “Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case,” the sheriff’s department added.
Saget’s reported death comes as he was on his “I Don’t Do Negative” comedy tour, with his most recent stop being on Saturday night in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
“Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville,” he tweeted following the set. “I’m happily addicted again to this shit,” he added.
Saget was slated to perform again on Jan. 28, with tour dates scheduled into June.
The comedian, who also gained fame as a host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos,” is survived by his wife, Kelly Rizzo, and three children.
