Dmitry Mazepin
Belarus-born chemicals billionaire Dmitry Mazepin has resigned as CEO of Russian fertilizer producer Uralchem, the company said, and has sold a controlling stake after being placed on a European Union sanctions list.
“Dmitry Mazepin, who previously held a 100% stake in the company, has sold a controlling stake (52%) from his holding,” Uralchem said in a statement late on Thursday.
“Dmitry Mazepin thus now has a 48% stake in the Company. He also resigned from the position of the CEO of Uralchem.”
Board Chairman Dmitry Konyaev was appointed as the new CEO, the statement said. Dimitry Tatyanin would replace Konyaev as chairman of the board, Uralchem said.
