Kanye West has agreed to joint custody of his and Kim Kardashian’s four young children. His response mirrors Kardashian’s divorce filing from 19 February, which began the process of ending their almost seven year marriage. Actor arrested for running film investment Ponzi scheme

Actor and movie investor Zachary Horwitz, who is sometimes credited as Zach Avery, was arrested Tuesday on charges that he ran a Ponzi scheme that swindled investors out of $227 million. Horwitz, 34, was taken into custody by special agents with the FBI, the U.S. Attorney’s Office reported. Horwitz claimed investors’ money would be used for buying rights to films that HBO and Netflix had signed on to distribute internationally, particularly in Latin America. Dutch government to let 3,500 fans watch Eurovision Song Contest

The Eurovision Song Contest has been given permission to let 3,500 fans watch in person as part of a trial by the Dutch government. The annual musical extravaganza will be staged at Rotterdam’s Ahoy Arena in May, after being cancelled last year. Under the plan, the venue would be half full and fans would need a negative Covid test before being allowed in. Renowned French film director Bertrand Tavernier dies

The internationally celebrated and prolific French film director Bertrand Tavernier has died aged 79. His most famous films include The Clockmaker (1974), Round Midnight (1986) and Life and Nothing But (1989). He was born in Lyon under Nazi occupation in 1941 and his father René, a writer, was in the French Resistance. Tavernier headed the Institut Lumière, named after the brothers who invented cinema. His work spanned several genres from thrillers to historical dramas. Tavernier was also a screenwriter, actor and producer. Warner Music teams up with Tencent of China

Warner Music has signed a deal with China’s Tencent to help it break into the fast-growing Asian market. The US record label said the venture with the Chinese tech giant will help make its artists like Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran “impossible to ignore”. Thione Seck, one of Senegal’s biggest music stars over the last 40 years, died at the age of 66 in the capital Dakar on Sunday, his lawyer said. “He died this morning of an illness at the Fann hospital,” lawyer Ousmane Seye told the AFP news agency, confirming reports in the Senegalese media. Adele Adele will share custody of her 8-year-old son and won’t be paying child support to her now-ex-husband Simon Konecki, according to divorce documents obtained by The Associated Press. The couple separated in August of 2019, and Adele filed for divorce the following month. A Los Angeles judge finalized the divorce last week. According to the documents, the 32-year-old Adele and the 46-year-old Konecki used mediation to amicably reach the terms of the split. Bunny Wailer reggae legend who found fame with Bob Marley dies, aged 73

One of reggae’s most important voices, Bunny Wailer, has died at the age of 73. The musician, from Kingston, Jamaica, was a founding member of The Wailers alongside his childhood friend, Bob Marley. Together, they achieved international fame with reggae classics like Simmer Down and Stir It Up, before Wailer left to go solo in 1974. He went on to win three Grammys and was given Jamaica’s Order Of Merit in 2017. His death was confirmed by manager Maxine Stowe, and Jamaica’s Culture Minister, Olivia Grange.
