A British holidaymaker was arrested after allegedly smashing his partner over the head with a bottle at Ibiza Airport. The 26-year-old was held at the door to the Ibiza Airport terminal after members of a flight crew leaving the area alerted police to the attack at midnight on June 11. The incident happened minutes after the couple reached the holiday island on a late-night flight from the UK.  Local reports said police found the assault victim injured on the floor with her belongings scattered on the ground when they reached the scene. A British tourist is in intensive care after falling on rocks as he jumped into the sea near the Ibiza party resort of San Antonio. The holidaymaker, believed to be 33, is said to have suffered a cervical spine fracture which can cause paralysis from the chest down. Passengers scream as world’s longest cruise ship crashes into Jamaican pier

Passengers aboard Royal Caribbean’s The Harmony of the Seas could be heard screaming as the 1,188-foot ship crashed into a pier in Jamaica. The incident happened on Thursday when the cruise liner docked at Falmouth, a busy port on the country’s northern shore, at about 7am. Several bits of port infrastructure were damaged in the collision, including a pier structure which was crushed by the 227,000 tonne vessel. An investigation is underway. Thailand plans to end Covid-19 quarantine requirements for fully vaccinated travellers from at least 10 low-risk nations from 1 November, officials say. Billionaire’s Swiss luxury hotel to accept crypto payments
